The Barefoot Queen

Caridad, a former Cuban slave, wanders the streets of the city. She has just arrived by boat, and she is lost and frightened in the new country she finds herself in. When she meets Milagros Carmona, a young, rebellious gypsy, the two women instantly become friends. Milagros, like the rest of her people, is standing up to the vicious persecution of gypsies. When Milagros introduces Caridad to her exotic life on the edge of society, her life is changed forever. From the bustle of 18th-century Seville to the theatres of Madrid, THE BAREFOOT QUEEN is a rip roar-ing tale of friendship, betrayal and identity. Drawing us into the world of tobacco smuggling, music, dance, and gypsies, it tells the magnificent story of the birth of Flamenco.

This is a 647 page book that goes into to much detail about everything. The book is boring, has bad language and rape.

Supermarket Healthy: Recipes and Know-How for Eating Well Without Spending a LotFood Network star and New York Times bestselling author Melissa d'Arabian proves that healthy eating at home is easy, achievable, and affordable.

Everyone wants to feel good about what they are eating, serving guests, and feeding their families, but most of us don't do our weekly shopping at pricey specialty stores-- we do it at the local supermarket and we don't want it to break the bank. In her second book, Melissa demystifies the task of preparing nutritious and delicious food by showing exactly how you can make your grocery store work for you. She offers helpful strategies for shopping, cooking, and entertaining, as well as meal blueprints and nutritional information throughout. This book will make you confident about the food you're buying, preparing, and eating. Delicious recipes like Almond Waffles with Raspberry-Basil SauceKale and White Bean Caesar Salad in a JarSlow-Roasted Tomato SpaghettiniFlatiron Steaks with Quick Cauliflower Kimchi, and Flourless Fudgy Dream Cookies have something for every type of eater at every meal of the day. No matter your favorite flavors or dietary needs, cooking on a budget is empowering-- and now you can learn how to make every bite count. If cooking at home is the key to healthy living, Supermarket Healthy is the only tool you'll need.
This isn't all its it cracked up to be, it seems like it would be normal food for normal healthy eating, yet its more 'fancy' eating then anything. Most of this isn't something most people would serve on a daily basis, more then anything something you wouldn't serve at all... I recieved this book from blogging for books for review.

The Gospel Of Yes

God would like a word with you

What you believe about God affects the way you approach life—often in ways you don’t realize. Are you convinced that God limits you, or liberates you? Is he more interested in correcting you or connecting with you? And when you hit a rough spot and start looking for help, do you believe God is against you or on your side?

In The Gospel of Yes, Mike Glenn reveals God’s most powerful word, which opens our eyes to everything he does. That word is YES. God said “yes” to creating a world for us to live in and “yes” to inviting us into a relationship with him. No matter what we face in life, the best way to live is captured in one word: yes.

When you live in God’s “yes” you find your identity, your true value, and your unique purpose on earth. You can stop trying to be someone else and enjoy being yourself as you join with God in doing the work of his kingdom. When God looks at you he always says “yes.” It’s time to live like you know it.

Includes Discussion Questions for Personal and Group Use.

This book was well written and a good title to read if you are intersted in learning to live a different kind of Christian fatith.
I was not made to write a good review, only to voice my opinion.
